Professional Biography

Dr Jayant Kumar Sah is a surgical gastroenterologist at KNMC Hospital, Kathmandu, with over 18 years of experience in gastroenterology, liver transplantation, HPB surgery and advanced laparoscopy. Dr Jayant Kumar Sah is a specialist in surgical gastroenterology, hepatopancreatobiliary -Biliary (HPB) surgery, liver transplantation, advanced laparoscopic surgery and laser proctology and has more than 18 years of clinical experience. He received his MBBS from Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara. Later he obtained his MS in General Surgery from the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University, and an MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology from the IOM, Tribhuvan University. He has done a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS), a Fellowship in Advanced Liver Transplantation and a Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is presently in the Gastro-Surgery Department at KNMC Hospital, seeing patients in the clinic and providing surgical care from Sunday to Friday.
